unable to start Firmware Update

I have a Fitbit Surge and when I try to update my tracker I get the above message... added to that because the system is busy.  4 days busy now.

 

Please help!

Hey there @MickKirby! It's great to see you in the Forums. Thanks for details of the error that you're getting. I would appreciate if you try the following steps to make your Fitbit Surge update properly. It's best if you try with a computer using this program, since your Fitbit is having a hard time connecting:

 

  1. Log in into your Fitbit Account, go to Settings > Click on Surge > Delete Fitbit Surge from the Account
  2. Restart your Surge a couple of times
  3. Follow the suggestions in this post on how to update you tracker using a computer. You will be using the Fitbit Connect Program, not the Fitbit App
  4. Once you have updated the Surge, make sure is connecting, you will see the name of the tracker on the Account, also the last synchronization if you click on your Surge name.

If this doesn't help, please get in touch with our Support group, so they can check this issue with you.
