Hi there, I just wanted to check.. are active minutes the same as the CDC recommendations?
I know you recommend 30 min daily but I wanted to check does this mean do a minimum total of 150 active min per week (so do 30 active min on 5 days a week) or does it mean do 7 days of 30 active minutes a week so in total 210 active minutes equates to the CDC recommendation of 150 min per week. Hope that doesn't sound too lazy and makes sense, I just wanted to get an idea of how it equates.
Thanks very much
Amy

I find active minutes very confusing. Here's fitbit's take on what they are:

Yeah so going by that explanation 30 active minutes just means 30 min of moderate to high intensity exercise? If so then the recommendation from the CDC is 150 min per week which would equate to 30 active minutes on 5 days of the week. The Fitbit says do 30 active mins daily which is a bit vague as its not clear if they mean 5 days a week or 7 days a week. Do they respond to these posts?
Thanks for your reply 🙂
