Hi!
I get the wrong maximum heart rate during exersice (Mainly soccer).
I have never gotten the max heart rate over 144, wich clearly is wrong.
After several tries, me and a friend swapped our surges for one session, and on his i got max 180 during the session, and he on mine couldn't get it higher than 124.
Clearly something is wrong on mine, is there a fix to this, or should I just return it?
Btw, his wristband was also a lot softer than mine, ine was more rigid. It's the exact same modell...

Hello @Gunndern welcome aboard to our community. Well it seems that your Surge is a little stubborn. If you were doing soccer when you noticed your heart rate did not seem correct, it may have to do with the nature of the exercise and placement of the tracker, but what concerns me is the fact that your friend tried your tracker with the same result. Although I'm not sure since your tracker works on your demographic information registered on your own account. For details about what can affect the accuracy of the heart rate reading, please visit http://fitbit.link/1RbObzX and specifically the question "What impacts the accuracy of my heart rate reading?"
About the wristband I believe it might be due to the time of usage, although I'm just guessing. For additional tips of Wear and Care please visit our site. https://www.fitbit.com/productcare
Hope this helps and keep me updated how it goes those soccer practice with your Surge's heart rate.

Sounds like a pretty clear case of a faulty device. Get onto customer services at once.

Well if that device is wrong my Surge is worse. From a pretty close count as to acurate heart rate (e.g. in hospital on a monitor, being correct to out below and above by up to 5 beats, or correct on a walk but then (and often) to up to well over 150 and close to 200 beats (in no way correct based on my own count and anyway being only 2 months short of 82 my heart can't do that many beats, having trouble to get above 130 at a stress test).
Same often incorrect info with info on sleep. For example it showed for Feb 11. gone to bed 00:09 in bed 7:14 hrs actual sleep 3:49 hrs, yet we had a 6am flight to Cuba the next day and I got up shortly after 2 am. Then while finally sleeping well and long hours in Cuba, it didn't record any sleep activity for Feb 12 to Feb 19, yet it recorded other activities for those days. Often my heart rate in bed is in the low 50, but only once did it show a resting rate below 60.
Also disapointing with downloads of sleep time being only 4 aspects rather then all what is awailable on the dashboard and why is the system reporting some items in minutes only and others in hours and minutes. Should be consistand either/or and preferably selectable by user.
