I’ve just completed a 60minute training ride with around 50 minutes at ftp with a heart rate   at peak however, Fitbit only registered 12 zone minutes.  Why is this?

Hi @FitBadger, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for sharing those details on your post. To better assist you with this please let me know if this has happened with other exercises. Which Fitbit and mobile device you have? Is your Fitbit device tracking your heart rate properly? If not, please check this link What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

I'll be around.

Hi,

Yes the device seems to work on other exercises. Well those I can do in lockdown. The device records walks very well. However it doesn’t match the readings and range of a chest fitted hrm while on my turbo trainer.

@FitBadger, it's great to see you again.

Thanks for providing the requested information. I suggest restarting your device by following the steps in this link How do I restart my Fitbit device? If this persists, please let us know the model of your Fitbit device and also the model of the mobile device you use to sync it.

Hope this helps.
