Advice for Running/Walking on an Indoor Track

Anyone have any suggestions on how to best use the FitBit One when walking or running on a track?  Ideally I'd like to invoke the MobileRun Exercise tracker but instead of hearing cues on distance (since the app doesn't do well calculating distance on a small indoor track), I'd like to hear cues on steps taken.  For example "You've stepped 500 steps in 3 minutes" then later, "You've stepped 1000 steps in 7 minutes".  Then I'd get an idea of how many miles I've gone and can stop after how many steps I wanted to go that day.  Obviously the iPhone FitBit app does not have that option, but maybe someone knows of another app that can get me what I'm looking for here??!!

@SunsetRunner It's great to see you active in the community! You made a great observation. Perhaps you can share this idea in our Feature Requests forumThis is a great place to get the attention of Fitbit's developers.

And I tried to search for an alternative app that syncs with your Fitbit One. So far Endomondo may have it, but you can look up for more apps in the Fitbit app Gallery.  Happy stepping! :smileywink:
