 I've got the FitBit Skill running ok and can check my progress from my Blaze and the scales, but we have 3 other FitBit users in the family. Can these be added to the same Amazon Echo or does each FitBit user need their own Alexa?

It is possible for two adults to share a household profile and so you can switch between Fitbit accounts with Alexa. You can read more about it in here.
