Any apps to sync Fitbit heart rate data with?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have the Fitbit Charge HR and just ordered a Magellan Echo watch.  This interfaces with your phone so, for example, while running, if it is connected to an app like MapMyFitness, it will display time, distance, speed, and heart rate.  I don't think it is compatible with the Fitbit app, so I'm trying to see if there is another app that it is compatible with that can sync with the Fitbit - in other words, send the heart rate data during a run from the Fitbit to app X, which would then connect with the Echo to display the heart rate during a run.

Thanks!

Hey @bossfan! Answering to your inquiry, as of today there is no bonding available with 3rd party trackers. We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services and, I appreciate the time you've taken to provide us with your feedback. The best place to make your voice heard is the Ideas Board. This board is constantly reviewed by our product development teams to make sure Fitbit is delivering on what our customers need and want. Take a moment to visit and check out that this has already been proposed by another member of the Community, you can vote for this idea and add your comments. Our product team looks forward to reading and incorporating your suggestions into future versions of Fitbit trackers and apps.

Also, there are several 3rd party apps that can be easily linked to your Fitbit account. Be sure to check them out here!

Catch you later! Smiley Wink

Only 1/10th you reply even focused on what the question was.

So, why have you not developed a means to which we can monitor HR live on our iPhones, like so many other activity monitors are able to provide. I paid good money for this Charge HR which doesn't even provide that simple yet crucial option. How exactly can I start monitoring my HR from my iPhone using this Chare HR? Is there a third party app which will do it for me (for you FitBit). Or will you be giving me a refund for this, so I can purchased one more advanced and more convenient?

Hey there @BradyC1! Welcome to the forums. Actually, you can see live heart rate data if you use the Fitbit app for iOS or the Fitbit app for Android with your Charge HR. Just make sure that your Bluetooth and All Day Sync are turned on. In order to manage the All Day Sync function from your Fitbit app, select your tracker and then tap All Day Sync to turn it on or off.

Hope this helps! 🙂
