Any weight lifting tracking apps that connect with Fitbit?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I recent got a Fitbit (Alta), moved over from Jawbone UP3. The Jawbone UP app had 1 nice feature I miss: it connected to Fitocracy. When I logged my workout in Fitocracy, UP app will notice it and log it as a workout.

Is there a way to do this with Fitbit? Or at least any third party apps that will log themselves as a workout within Fitbit just by me logging my workout within it?

Hello @guice,

Welcome to the community!

Try this:

  1. Launch the Fitbit App.
  2. Click on the Exercise Tile.
  3. Select Log.
  4. Type "weights".
  5. Enter the duration.

I hope this helps.

That one I got.

I was looking for something more automated. I log my workout, weights - reps - sets, and it automatically logs it as a workout within Fitbit.

I, obviously, can't use Fitbit as my workout tracker - there isn't any way to track these details. So, I'm open to third-party apps that can track reps, sets, and weight as well as start/end times that will integrate with Fitbit.

Any suggestions?

@PureEvil Thanks for the great tip.

@guice Welcome to the Community! One third-party app that many people use is MyFitnessPal, this has a more extend activity database. Also, when you log the activity; it automatically syncs it to Fitbit.

Additionally, you may want to check this third-party app post. In case you want to start using any of those.

Hope this helps.
