Calorie Goal Difference. Fitbit VS Myfitnesspal

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello all,

Basically MFP says my calorie goal per day should be about 1350, and fitbit says I can have 1550.

Which one should I go with? My gut says fitbit because it measures activity and heart rate. But should I just go with the lower one to be on the safe side?

Any thoughts or opinions are most welcome 🙂

Hello @CarlaSpaceWolf.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing those details.

As you mentioned Fitbit can track much more details all day to calculate how many calories you burn and thus calculate how many you need to consume or burn, depending on your goal. My recommendation would be to stick with the Fitbit estimates on this one.

Let me know if there are any other questions on the situation or if I can help you with something.
