Calories/Water Tiles Not Updating Automatically

I purchased my Fitbit yesterday from Argos and if I had the option to I would probably return it., but I can't from what I have read. There's an annoying issue occuring when I am adding food/water intake from the MFP application that's connected to my account. Once I add the food/water then it's immediately available in my Fitbit Online Dashboard but the mobile application dashboard tiles will never update no matter how long I leave them. I've ran through all of the troubleshooing such as disconnecting accounts, clearing caches, rebooting etc etc. and still have the same issue. To get them to update I have to click into the tile itself, then click on the water intake for example and it then shows correct, once I back out to the dashboard then the correct figure is shown. I have paid for a tracker that automatically does these things so why isn't it?

Does anyone else have the same issue, is it a bug perhaps?

Welcome to the Forums @Uniqum87.

Thanks for sharing that explanation and for trying all of those steps to get it to work.

It doesn't sound like anything I have heard about before so it does sound like some sort of bug. The tiles should all be updated the moment you open the app as it reconnects to the servers. My suggestion in this case would be to try to uninstall the Fitbit app and then install it once more. That should do the trick in getting it to load everything correctly.

In the meantime I'd like to ask what device are you using the app on? Is it a Wndows 10 device, or a phone? If it is a phone, is it running Android, iOS or Windows 10?

Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance.

Thanks for the reply. It has to he a bug with the app as I've seen posts going back a over a year ago with the same issue of the tiles not updating. The app is probably the most used thing with the fitbit yet having to manually refresh your calories and water intakes is really annoying. I can't believe this hasn't been addressed with an update given how easy a fix would be for such a thing.

I've already tried what you have suggested more than once. The only workarounds are to go into the tiles themselves, click on the water or graph so it updates and then go back to the dashboard where it then shows. It's on my fitbit account online and the water intake is on the fitbit itself once synced but never makes it's way to the apps dashboard.
