Can you sync with the Dashboard and App?

Am I doing something wrong? Why doesn't FitBit let me paired with the Dashboard, and also use the app on my iPhone? In order to have my Charge HR properly talk to the MyFitnessPal app, I'm required to pair the FitBit with the dashboard via the wireless sync dongle, but when I do that I can no longer use the FitBit app on my iPhone. What the heck, FitBit?

Am I just missing something, or doing something wrong? There's got to be a way to be paired with the Dashboard and be connected with the FitBit app at the same time. Otherwise, all these third party apps are useless if you want to stay connected to the FitBit app.

Hello @JamesJenkins,

This should work.  Are you absolutely sure that you're logged on to the same account?  When you installed the Fitbit App on your phone, did you select "Existing User" or "New User".  If you selected the latter, you created a new account.  To fix this:

  1. Run the Fitbit App on your phone.
  2. Log Out.
  3. Log back in to the account from your dashboard.
  4. Make sure that the Fitbit is paired with that account.

I hope this helps.
