Cannot sync fitbit and myfitnesspal

Help!!! I have been trying to link my fitbit with myfitnesspal but each time I do this via MFP I keep getting the message: Another MyFitnessPal account has already been linked to this Fitbit account. Only one account may be linked at once

 

I dont have another account linked to my fitbit (that I know of) and when I log into my fitbit account, go to the Applications menu and revoke access and then try again, it still says the same message (as above). 

 

I cannot see any other account linked and I have no idea what to do and how to fix it :((( It's really frustrating and is really messing with my ability to track what I am eating and my calorie counting. 

 

Someone please help!!!

Hi @smlad - It looks like you have done all you can from Fitbit’s side of things. At this point, you should contact MyFitnessPal. You can get in touch with their tech support here. Good luck!

Normally once revoked the third party app well not know until it tries to sync. 

However without knowing the log in details you won't be able to have this account sync with Fitbit. 

You may have to reach out to MFP. And have them remove the other account..
