Hi
sp i had my charge 2 linked to my iPhone via bluetooth and went on a 20 mile bike ride. The distance was pretty much the same as starve gave and an cheap watch GPS i use. Question is it just distance measured or would the fitbit keep the actual route so it can be used and i can compare HR with respect to where in the ride?

Hello @captainmax, good to see you are visiting the Fitbit Community. Yes, depending on how you are tracking your exercise it will give you GPS map route.
You can use Connected GPS or MobileRun with your mobile phone. When you sync these activities you will see all your data including the map course. In your online Dashboard you can compare your hear rate data to the map to know where it happened on your ride.
To learn more about these features please take a look at these posts:

Let me know if you have additional questions. I'll be around.
