The Fitbit Charge HR tracks your steps automatically when walking. It can set to detect & register walking as a exercise automatically when walking 10+ minutes*.. or press and hold the button on the tracker until it buzzes before & after walking.. when sync'ing the activity appears onto your account.
* Automatic tracked exercises can be configured on the devices settings page
