I am trying to get sorted (agan). I have calculated my BMR as 1445 - pic attached with details. I want to lose 9kg/20 pounds. I want to do the 'kinda hard' to lose 750g / 1.5 pounds a week - though I track calories consumed/remaining in MFP. I have set my exercise level at the lowest as I figure that on days where I do very little, that will be about right. ON days where I do more, I know I can eat some of those calories back. When I put all the above details into MFP, it gives a calorie target of 1200 which is way too low and below my BMR. I am thinking a goal of 1500 is about right, plus the exercise calories when they happen. Is this too low given that most days I do move around a bit (I'm a teacher so not sitting all day)?
