Comparing Calories: Fitbit and MyFitnessPal

Hi there! I'm new to the Fitbit community and had a quick, more than likely, easy question to solve. Before getting into Fitbit, I was using MyFitnessPal to track my calories, workouts, etc. One function I enjoyed about the app was seeing the amount of calories, I was able to consume, increase depending on how many calories I had burned during a workout. Now I am still using both apps to track various things, but I was confused as to why the calorie count didn't respond the same way in the Fitbit app let alone if it is supposed to at all.

For example: I burned 881 calories, total, from my workout yesterday. Originally, based off of the calorie goals set from MyFitnessPal, I should be consuming 1780 calories per day. However, I ate 1820 calories with a remainder left over, due to my workout, in MyFitnessPal, while Fitbit had told me I had overeaten.

I look forward to any and all help I can get! Thank you!
