Connecting FitBit to MyFitnessPal

Hello!

I purchased a FitBit Flex and am trying to connect my FitBit account/app to my pre-existing MyFitnessPal account/app from within the MFP App through either of two methods (Steps-->Add Device & Devices and Apps). Both take me to the MFP web page to log in. I log in, then I am redirected to the FitBit allow access login page. I log in there and click on allow access. I am then redirected to the login page for MFP again...I am going in circles and cannot get my two accounts to link. Please help!! 🙂

Note: doing this from Safari and Apps installed on bothan iPhone 6 (iOS 8.2) and iPad Mini 2 (iOS 8.1.3)...both behave the same.

I decided to get off of the iPhone and iPad for a moment and I came upstairs to the iMac and tried to link the two accounts from here.  Voila!  That did the trick.  Hopefully this may help anybody having the same problem on their mobile devices.  Case closed.

Hi everyone, this is happening to me! I had to unlink myfitnesspal and Fitbit as it wasnt syncing properly and now when I go to add them back together, the app conneciton area in the myfitnesspal takes me to the product page of Fitbit..... please help!

Ditto. MFP connect takes me to FitBits choose a product page - it's like the web link has expired. FB or MFP need to provide a new link

I am so mad I enjoy seeing how much a I have worked out with my fitbit but when it hasn't been connecting with my fitness pal. It's almost like what is the point. All I getting is their product page and when I try dirctly through my fitness pall it won't disconnect to reconnect

I had to connect thru the website using my laptop. Works fine now. Try it!

I can't find a way of connecting through the website either. Could you post the steps on how to do so as I am going round in circles on the iphone apps.

The only way I can connect now is going into the web page
For MFP and disconnecting and reconnecting every night when I am done for the day.
When you are signed on to MFP web page the fitbit app is at the left bottom ( might have to click apps first) then it says to disconnect then you can reconnect it will ask you to accept fitbit then take you to another screen hit continue and it should connect. But that is the only way I found. You think someone would make it easier!
