I think you have to start from the 3rd party app itself. Go to Settings and Apps or Connect, choose Fitbit and then log in when it asks you to.
You can also check which 3rd party apps you've given permission to from your Fitbit App on your phone by tapping your profile picture, then Third Party Apps and Manage 3rd Party Apps. You can do this to Revoke Access if you want to remove an App later.

@Marine1969 as @Wibby points out, the best place is to ask Carium. Any connection would be setup by them, not fitbit.
A simple Google brought me to their FAQ
And also a YouTube video on this subject.
I've also moved the post to the Third Party Board since it is not about tracker support.

@Marine1969 , in the Carium app, you can tap the "More" button at the bottom right-corner of the screen and then select "Connect devices". There will be a button to connect a new device or app, and after tapping that you can select the Fitbit option. The Carium app has a "wizard" that gives instructions for completing the connection.
