DDPY won't sync with Fitbit

Fitbit won’t connect to DDPY which makes it useless.  The thing needs charging daily now , and it’s one a year or so old.  Frustrating that it won’t connect to other apps.  We won’t be buying anymore of these Fitbits if they won’t work with other apps.  They want you to only use their programs but most people like to use a variety of fitness apps and it’s easier to buy a cheaper tracker that works with other apps.  There are other threads on here about this topic but I see they are locked which is about par for anything Fitbit related.

Thanks for sharing this with the Community. It's up to the owner of the third-party app to implement or update features for their app, this needs to be addressed with the third party customer service  and if you wish you can also add a Feature Suggestion so our team can consider it for future developments.

 

Also you can make this suggestion to DDPY and direct them to our existing API and SDK and resources such as the web dev API community.
