I recently discovered my FitBit data hasn't been syncing to Microsoft's HealthVault. On the HealthVault site, and reviewing recent changes for FitBit, the last successful sync was back in May. Within FitBit I go to Settings > Sharing, and see the data FitBit will write to HealthVault, but it's not getting there.
The last couple of days I've unlinked and linked back to HealthVault, and I'm still not seeing data getting sync'd.
Any help would be apperciated.
Thanks!

Thanks for stopping by @atebyfitness! It's good to hear that you have checked that your Fitbit account has been linked to HealthVault, this is the first recommendation I provide. If your Fitbit account was successfully linked and you are still having issues, I suggest you get in touch with HealtVault so they can also verify if everything is working properly from their end.
Let me know of any updates you have.

Hey @Mcore , thanks for the reply. I've since engaged HealthVault support and after their escalation team took a look at the issue they told me to contact FitBit support as they are not seeing any issues on their end. I've since contact FitBit support, and got a response back that didn't really clear up the issue. I send a reply providing more details and it's been a handful of days with no response.

@atebyfitness I just checked my HealthValut account and it appears to have been syncing with Fitbit, but looks to be about a 48 hour delay. By chance are you using different email acounts for each? I use the same email address for both. When disconnecting the accounts, did you do it on both ends or just in your Fitbit account? You can also remove access to Fitbit in the HealthVault account. I would disconnect on both ends and then reconnect.

Thanks for the update @atebyfitness. I appreciate @SunsetRunner comment and I encourage you to keep an eye on this and let me know if it takes that long to sync your data to HealthVault. If this is not the case, I will forward thid to our team members so they can further investigate.
Thanks again!

Hey @SunsetRunner , thanks for the help. I use different email accounts for each service, and yeah I've gone through the various methods of unlinking and linking between the two.
I'm also aware of the delay that happens when syncing data from FitBit to HealthVault. Looking at the activity records in HealthVault, the last successful sync was back in in April/May of 2014. I don't think it takes 7 months to sync 😉
I've just found out that Microsoft was going to engage FitBit on behalf of me to help get this moving along. A little disappointing that a 3rd party is more interested in troubleshooting this problem and work to resolve it.

@atebyfitness Glad to see Microsoft is looking into this for you. In all fairness, it is Microsoft's software. They just use the Fitbit open API to pull your Fitbit data. They would best be able to tell you what is going on. 🙂

I recently noticed that since I got my Fitbit on 2/4/2015 that three (3) random days have not synced data. They are not consecutive or even the same day of the week. One at least one of the days, some of the data synced. Such as miles, sleep time and one of my foods synced on 2/14 but not my steps.
I am also somewhat puzzled on what syncs between fitbit and healthvault and that it seems to only be one way (from fitbit to healthvault). I used to have my Withings scale sync directly to health vault but fitbit would pull the weight data, so I linked my scale to fitbit and fitbit to healthvault.
I also see where it can sync blood pressure data but I don't see where I can enter that on fitbit.com or my fitbit app. However, my Surge does heart rate and I don't see that as some of the data to sync. Is this something that was over looked or simply not implemented yet as it is a newer feature associated with two newer fitbit devices?

I have verified that Fitbit used to pull Blood Pressure information from other sources and allow manual entry but this seems to have been removed. Yet the HealthVault integration still tries to sync this data, which is fine as it doesn't hurt anything. Yet when you could enter Blood Pressure information you could also enter heart rate but that information never synced and still doesn't. How do we get this data to sync as well. Though I think the data syncing reliable is more of a priority than adding more data to sync.

I am encountering this same issue. When I setup the link, it automatically syncs for a couple days and then stops. The data is captured in Fitbit, but is never pushed to HealthVault. If I press the manual sync button it goes over fine, but if I don't do this the measurements never sync.

Manual sync button?
FitBit acknowledged there is a specific issue to this problem, but don't have any timelines on when it would be resolved. Which is a bit lame, not sure why this company isn't as open to 3rd parties like other services. I might have to find another product/service to go with that is a little more open to sharing data.
