Distance accuracy with Runkeeper

I have been using my new Fitbit One along with my Runkeeper App for a week now. Fitbit records me running 17 miles when Runkeeper records me at 8, Fitbit records me at 12 when Runkeeper shows 6....and so on and so forth.....When I check the route on GoogleMaps it shows Runkeeper off by maybe .2 miles, and Fitbit WAY OFF.....

what's up with this?
