Fitbit syncs steps with MFP but not exercise. I manually enter exercise into MFP the it syncs with Fitbit and double counts the calorie burn a d the active minutes. How can this happen??

@ali24west It's nice to see you on the Community.
I'll be happy to clarify your inquiry about the data that's syncing between Fitbit and MyFitnessPal. Please find below the data that's going to sync between both:
From Fitbit to MyFitnessPal:
- Steps
- Calories
- Scale measurements
- Logged food
- Activities
I would recommend to only use one of the two apps at a time when tracking activities, this to avoid any duplicate workouts.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

My Fitbit seems to pick up on exercise when I add it to MyFitnessPal. I realised the Fitbit didn't since my cardio workouts with MyFitnessPal so I was adding them myself. This has resulted in Fitbit double dounting!
Is this correct.
Many Thanks
Alison

@ali24west Thanks for getting back. Sorry for the delayed reply.
When you're exercising with your Fitbit, it's recommended to only use this and if you're manually adding your exercises on MyFitnessPal, then there's no need to use your Fitbit. If you use both, you'll get duplicate activities.
