Does Fitbit treadmill activity sync to Strava?

Noticed that all my activities including treadmill runs are recorded on fitbit as expected but do not see the treadmill run on strava.  I know there is no synchronization issue  because my cycling activies records to fitbit when I start strava albeit that's the opposite synch than what I'm trying to understand. Does anyone confirm that treadmill activities should or shouldn't synch to strava?

Fitbit will sync activities recorded with GPS to Strava and Strava will sync any GPS activity recorded to Fitbit. This is the reason why your treadmill activity isn't syncing but the cycling activities are.

It’s over 5 years since this was originally raised! I’ve bought a treadmill today and had no idea that Fitbit wouldn’t link these workouts to strava. I have signed up for a year long challenge of end to end (lands end to John o’ groats) and need to complete 874 miles, my treadmill was supposed to assist with this. Strava data is used for the challenge! Is this something that is going to be sorted? Or do I need to switch to garmin I believe their treadmill data does transfer to strava.
