Exercise not syncing with MFP

Hi I'm having problems with my steps from Fitbit syncing to MyFitnessPal. The calories etc come over from MFP on to Fitbit but my steps from Fitbit will not go to MFP. 

I can see this topic has come up in the community several times before. I have followed all the advice.  Revoked access on both apps, re added the apps and re-synced. I have also uninstalled both apps and logged in and out several times and nothing works. 

I can see Fitbit says it's a problem with MFP but MFP says it's a problem with Fitbit. 

I just want them to work together any other suggestions?
