FitBit Sync to Weight Watchers app- Double Counting activity

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Anyone else noticing that it looks like when fitbit syncs to WW that it's counting your activity twice.  I wear mine all day for regular activity and my 40 minute workout at lunch time.  It so far today has given me 8pts for 8500 steps and an additional 7pts for 40min of aerobic exercise...thing is, those steps that i took during the exercise are included in the original 8500. Any thoughts??

Hello @peighleterson, welcome to the Fitbit Community. Great question you have brought to my attention.

Despite Weight Watchers is a compatible integration was not developed by us and we don't have the control over this data or how it will be interpreted by these services. According on how this integrations works Fitbit will sync basic data like steps, calories and distance giving you points for that, however it will also convert in points all your exercise recorded by your tracker.

For more details about Weight Watchers, please take a look a this post.

For point conversion details feel free to contact WW support:

  1. US or Canada: 1-800-651-6000 or http://www.weightwatchers.com/help/contactus.aspx.
  2. UK: 0345 3451500 or at uk.help@weightwatchers.co.uk.

See you around and hope this information helps.
