I need to use MapMyRun or MapMyFitness, as they are the ONLY apps that have horseback riding as an activity. Before I ordered the Fitbit Sense, I checked to make sure that it was compatible. Previously I had been using the Samsung GearFit 2 with Endomondo (now MapMyRun MapMyFitness), and had no issues downloading the app to the watch and using the built in heart rate monitor with it.
I did check out third party apps to see if I could download it to the watch, but neither MapMyRun or MapMyFitness are listed. And if I try and link the Fitbit Sense to either MapMyFitness or MapMyRun apps on my phone, the Fitbit Sense is not displayed under Apps and Devices, so I cannot select it there. If I click on Heart Rate Monitor under Devices and it finds the Sense, but then says "Sensor not supported". I don't know if this is an issue with the app or the Fitbit Sense.
This is very frustrating, as the reason I bought the Sense was specifically because it says it works with the MapMyRun and MapMyFitness app. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Trish 😉

Sorry @trishcollins map my run -walk - hike -exercise -etc will only link to your Fitbit account.
There isn't any mapmyrun app to load into the tracker.

I wish they'd allow it as an app on the Sense. I had the Samsung Active 2 for about a week (couldn't take the battery drain/slow charge times) and I could use it there. I liked being able to see the map on my wrist without having to take my phone. C'mon FitBit!

Maybe someone will write an app.

I think something has happened... Fitbit isn't available as a partner app to link with anymore on MapMyRun. Mine stopped syncing at some point.

They are still listed, however if you are having issues, Fitbit will not be able to help, you will need to reach out to MapMyRun
