Fitbit App Not Syncing Third-Party App Weight Data- MyFitnessPal & Weight Guru

Currently my fitbit app on my iPhone and computer will not update weight from the integrated third-party apps- I have tried both Weight Guru & MyFitnessPal.

I have a Weight Guru scale and the weight moves seamlessly to the Weight Guru app; however, once there it only pulls over to the fitbit app sporadically. I have been using the scale for awhile and I have noticed there were occasional periods that it would struggle to sync, but it usually could be resolved by reintegrating/re-granting permissions on both apps- which I tried several times.

Therefore, after reading several other community threads, I wanted to make sure that this wasn't just a Weight Guru integration problem since I noticed fitbit no longer lists Weight Guru as a compatible app. To test this, I integrated Weight Guru with MyFitnessPal which immediately resulted in the transfer of data, and then revoked access for both Weight Guru (again) and MyFitnessPal and then reintegrated them. After doing so, the weight data still did not update.

Can you please provide any recommendations for how to get this data to sync?

Is there a way to trigger a manual sync for third-party apps and/or within the weight component of the app? Do I need to delete the fitbit app from my phone and re-install it? If so, will I lose my data from previous devices? This is incredibly frustrating since these are supposed to be compatible devices/apps and aren't working.

Thank you for your help in advance!

Probably the best way would be to contact Weight Guru, they are in charge of the linkup and probably the best place to start would be with them. I cant find a comunity but they do have a Facebook page.
