Fitbit Charge 5 not taking data from Fitday

I have seen a few posts on this but nothing has solved my problem.  I paired the Fitday and Fitbit app and both show successful pairing yet my weight data from my scale does not load into my Fitibit app.  I tried disconnecting a repairing and that did not help.

I'd recommend you follow the instructions on How do I connect my Fitbit account with another app?. Some users usually find it useful to unpair and then pair both apps again to refresh the performance, if you already have them paired.

 

Also you can try to restart your device after completing the steps above.

 

If you continue having the same problem, please contact our Support Team or the third party customer service.

Sadly I have done all these things several times. I will reach out to
customer support.

So...that was not helpful at all. After almost a half hour on the phone
with Fitbit tech support the guy's answer was that Fitbit doesn't work with
Fitday and I should call them.

So why does my Fitbit App show that I have authorized Fitday and that it is
allowed and why does Fit Day have 3 screens with instructions on how to
connect to Fitbit ?

Very frustrating and confusing.

I appreciate you share your experience. Fitbit devices share information with a third party app but not the way around.

 

It's up to the owner of the third-party app to implement or update features for their app, this needs to be addressed with the third party customer service and if you wish you can also add a Feature Suggestion so our team can consider it for future developments.

 

Also you can make this suggestion to their support team and direct them to our existing API and SDK and resources such as the web dev API community.
