Fitbit One and Myfitnesspal sync problems

Hello, for several months both accounts don't sync on their own, every night I have to do the disconnect/connect thing, otherwise nothing happens. It used to work for a while but these days it's a problem on Windows and Android.

As if that's not bad enough for the last few days Fitbit Dashboard starts showing an extra 500-600 calories every night. Today Myfitnesspal (where I log everything) shows 2042 calories, Fitbit comes up with 2641.

Any idea what's wrong? Is anybody else having this sort of problem?

Thanks for your input!

this is happening to me to.  It looks like when you add things to MFP ie add another snack to the snacks section, fitbit remembers the original total and then adds the new total as well.. so when open the fitbit dashboard on my phone for "eaten" it shows 2 snack listings (or whatever meal I have altered). Rather than just updating the total for the day it adds it again.

I found an earlier post and the suggested fix was to do a forced quit on your phone (ie double tap home key, then close fitbit with upward swipe on the fitbit page, then reopen) and that seems to have fixed the problem on the phone, but my computer dashboard still shows the wonky syncing.  Hopefully someone from fitbit help will assist us more...

UPDATE: I went into my fitbit food log on my conputer and manually deleted the duplicate "snacks" and other meals from the last 2 days (it seems only to have happened yesterday and sunday) so that they are the same as mfp.  Hopefully it won't continue to happen.
