Hi... is anyone else experiencing that Endomondo is spontaneously stopping the sync with FitBit?

Yes, it was happening to me a few weeks ago. I would notice that my workout didn't upload, check the endomondo settings and the accounts were unlinked. I don't know whether fitbit or endomondo were responsible and there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to when it would happen. I would reestablish the link, but the workouts wouldn't upload retroactively. So my workaround was exporting the workout to a file, then importing it as a "new" workout. It's been fine for the last few weeks, but I'm prepared if it starts again.

Hi,

I can see that my endomondo doesn't sync my steps. Last since was two weeks ago. What's wrong? I didn't change anything in my accounts on endomondo or fitbit 😞 Both apps are linked together...

Looks like I have similar problem. My step counter workouts has stopped to appear in endomondo. I' ve noticed that it just didn't updated for 2 days. I have checked endomondo and fitbit settings and everything seems to be ok there. Then I have revoked the access from fitbit and re-linked my accounts. It works, all of my recent workout data transferred to endomondo correctly. Anyone know how frequent that data link activates? Maybe I had just wait for a couple of days.

I just looked and see that my steps haven't transferred since 6/10 and I am still connected. I will send an inquiry to Endomondo to see what is up.

I have just posted a request through endomondo website about that issue.

I tried to disconnect fitbit with endomondo and then connect them, all steps which were missing are synchronized now. I didn't lost any data, so I think it works now. But it will be better that endomondo developers (and fitbit developers too?) will know about this kind of bug.

thanks to all.

Unfortunately reconnecting is just partial solution - when you reconnect your steps are synchronized, but only for that moment. No synchronization afterwards. Tried several times.

Well, that's sad. Thanks for sharing this info though. I'll post here when I'll got a reply from endomondo team.

Upd. Endomondo support has answered me.

They said they are aware about this issue, and i can use "re-link" method until it would be a solution.

I received the same response from Endomondo. Disconnect and reconnect while they look into it. When I did that, all my steps came through. I will use Endomondo when I bike later today and we'll see what happens.

Update: Did a bike ride and Endomondo updated Fitbit. However, my steps from Fitbit have not transferred over today since this morning when I disconnected and reconnected.

now (and I don't know how) my steps are synchronized successfully, but I have another problem.

Synchro from Endomondo to Fitbit profile not working to me - today I use Endomondo and nothing as activity was synchronized.... It's bad, I like both apps 😕

Just checked it. Looks like sync now works well both ways for me. Steps transferred to endo and endo workouts transferred to fitbit activities. It's all good at first sight.

I've been having issues with syncing not working the last few days again.

The last 4 days just 1 of 4 bikerides synced from Endomondot to Fitbit.

My stepcounts are synced from Fitbit to Endomondo good though, and always has been.

Posted a ticket to Endomondo 3 days ago, but no answer yet.
