Hi,

I recorded a run yesterday using Mobile Run on windows phone. It came up on my fitbit dashboard fine, however it never synced to strava, and when i try to download the tcx file it is empty so I can't upload that way.

Is there any way to get hold of that data?

Thanks,

Rob

I'm trying to download TCX files that have GPS data and they are coming up empty (1K in size). I've also tried to download activities that I have successfully downloaded previously but now I am now longer able to.

I am not having this issue. Try clearing your browser cache and history. Also, log out of the site and then back in.

I've tried that and I'm getting the same result still. I've also tried a different browser. Chrome and Firefox

Having the same issue as well. Also seen that the auto sync with Strava also doesn't work.

Having the same issue.  I posted a similar question and a moderator advised that it was because of high server requests.  I think they were talking about the data export and not the .tcx activity export.  If you open the .tcx file the track point data is missing compared to older .tcx files.  The track point part of the  XML contains the GPS and heart rate information.  This is why Runkeeper and other apps will not import the file.  So far, I have not received any other feedback to my question.

My Charge HR was syncing beautifully with Strava until last Tuesday, when nothing was being recorded in Strava anymore. Strava reports that the files Fitbit is sending over for me doesn't have valid GPS data -- is anyone else experiencing that? Weird since GPS data (route, elevation) seems to be recorded accurately in Fitbit's app and on their website.

I'm training for the NYC Marathon, so this is sort of killing me.

I am also having the same issue. My data stopped Syncing to strava on 8/7. I really miss it and when I try to track my workouts using Fitbit and Strava at the same time both apps crash - which makes total sense I just want my activity logged in Strava and fitbit... Please look into the issue. Strava told me that Fitbit is sending over my data however the data is incomplete.

I suppose I could go back to recording with just Strava, but that defeats the purpose of having a Charge HR since I bought the darn thing for the heart rate monitoring. Glad I'm not alone. If there are enough of us, maybe they'll fix it!

I'm also having this issue. I've tried several activities - any TCX file I try to download is pretty much empty.

I am totally with you on this. I have no map on my Fitbit app like I used to and am manually entering run data on Strava!

I used to press the record button on my FitBit and the track exercise on my phone and get a map and splits etc. that appeared on Strava. No idea what is going on right now because I get a double exercise with HR and calories but no map and no splits.

This is from my original post on the TCX issue.

After my walk today I tried the TCX export again and it is working.  I was able to get all the older walks I was missing from August.  I use these files to upload to Runkeeper and a really cool site called MyGPSFiles that let one import several TCX and GPX files and replay an activity.   http://www.mygpsfiles.com/app/

Very happy right now.Smiley Happy

Erick,

Is this issue current - 8/26/2015???

I am not getting any syncing right now between strava and fitbit.  If it is a system wide issue then I am not going to investigate - simply wait for the folks at fitbit to fix.  Just trying to figure out if I have messed something up.

Thanks

I didn't have a problem until today. I have revoked access from both apps and still won't sync my activity recorded on fitbit to strava. Usually there had been no problem. Help
