I'm trying to figure out how I can do fitness challenges with my friend who has a samsung watch and uses samsung health. Is there an app that will take fitbit and samsung step data? Makes me wish I had gotten a garmin over a fitbit...

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing your interest in being able to connect to Samsung Health.

 

At this moment there is no official way to connect the two. Some users have mentioned some apps that help with that but they are not developed by Fitbit nor Samsung and thus we cannot guarantee their functionality nor their safety.

 

In the meantime, maybe you could support this suggestion about connecting the two. While it is listed as Not Currently Planned, you can still vote for it to show your support. Be sure to read the FAQ to better understand how that board works.
