Fitbit and Lose It Not Syncing Food

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My fitbit app and Lose It are syncing steps, but the food is not syncing. I have tried uninstalling and disconnecting the two but the food will not sync. And also when I disconnect the Fitbit app says I have eaten 0 and have 0 left to eat.

I am having the same problem. It stopped syncing February 14, for some unknown reason. (No link with my date of the evening ;-))

My Fitbit is not syncing with my Lose-it app either. I hope someone out there has a solution....

Same here! It seems to have stopped syncing my meals about three days ago. It's driving me nuts, because I prefer logging food in the Lose It app. I've tried rebooting my phone, disconnecting and reconnecting my Flex and Aria through Lose It and it's still not logging my food on Fitbit.

Another thing that happened was that I'd weigh myself on my Aria scale, the weight would show up on my Fitbit app but NOT on my Lose It app. It's always appeared on Lose It, but lately I've had to enter my weight manually.

I hope someone can help.

Hi, thanks for the response. About 30-45 minutes after I asked if anyone had responded to you, the food started to sync. The only problem was that I had already entered the info on the Fitbit so I had duplicate food info. For today, I deleted the Lose it info. I will see about trying to enter info from the Lose-it app tomorrow since it tells me what restaurants are near me and has their menu items.

Best wishes,
Mike Rodriguez

Hello everyone and let me give you a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community @katcost@MarieLV@MikeRod and @Mahgwet.

If the issue persist at the moment to sync information from LoseIt the best to try is to reconnect both accounts:

First try disconnecting Fitbit from Lose It! or from your Application settings on your Fitbit Dashboard.

Log in to your account at fitbit.com
Click on the gear in the top right and select Account Settings
Click on "Applications" on the left
Click "Revoke Access" button under Lose It!
Go to loseit.com, log in, and go to Apps & Devices
Disconnect and reconnect your Fitbit Tracker if you have one

Verified that data is on Fitbit.com, but Lose It is not updating, wait 20-30 minutes.Sometimes data can take a little while to sync so waiting a little bit can sometimes resolve the issue.

A work around would be to use the Force Sync button to do this manually. Go to the Apps & Devices section from the More menu of the app or the Settings tab of LoseIt.com and use the force sync option to force a sync of Fitbit data to Lose It.

For more details or information please contact LoseIt support.

See you around. For anything else let me know.

Hello @OliviaP, thank you for joining the Fitbit Community and for bring this issue to my attention. If you have tried my previous recommendation and the issue still persists, please contact LoseIt support to report this issue and learn more details.

Since third party apps are not developed by us we are not able to access the data or manage the information.

I'll keep an eye on this. See you soon!
