Fitbit and Strava have different data.

Hi,

I just got my Charge 4 two days ago, and i went on my first run with it today.

I connected Fitbit to Strava. After my run it uploaded it on Strava like it should do, but why is there such a difference between the data on the Fitbit app and the Strava app?

Fitbit: 10.8km    Strava: 8.8km

Fitbit: 6'04" / km         Strava: 6'40" / km

Every km also has a different time.

Why isn't this the same on both apps?

I also tried to manualy post it on Strava (download the .tcx file and upload it on Strava), but that got me to the same results.

This might be a Strava problem so i'm also going to post this on the Strava forum for more help.

Thanks in advance!

- Jorn

Mine all of a sudden acquired a 2% difference.  Does not sound a lot but when you are putting i PBs over 10k and it does not recognise because it thinks you are 200m short it is a bit of a pain.  Trust me at 56 it has taken a long time and a lot of work to get this far so it is disheartening.
