Fitbit app not syncing weight to Weight Watchers app

I have a Renpho scale that syncs my weight with the Fitbit app. This works fine. However my weight for the Fitbit app is not syncing with the Weight Watchers app. All my other metrics like activity sync just fine. It’s just the weight metric that doesn’t sync. This used to work just fine, but it stopped working. I deleted both apps. Restarted my phone. Even opened a new WW account and paid a $40 cancellation fee. Any suggestions?

Thanks for getting back to us and for mentioning all the steps you have followed in order to sync Fitbit with Weight Watchers @jayellezee.

Connect your Fitbit account to a Weight Watchers account in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom. When your Fitbit data syncs with Weight Watchers, it's automatically converted to Weight Watchers activity points.

To connect your Fitbit account in the Weight Watchers app:

  1. Tap the profile icon in the top right, then tap the gear icon.
  2. Tap Activity Settings.
  3. Tap Device. Note If you already have a device connected to your Weight Watchers account, tap Disconnect. Weight Watchers allows you to connect only one device to your account.
  4. Tap No devices connected > Fitbit.
  5. Tap Continue to connect your Fitbit account..

To connect your Fitbit account from a web browser:

  1. Log in to your Weight Watchers account and click the profile icon in the top right corner.
  2. Click Settings
  3. Scroll down to Activity and click Device.
  4. If you already have a device connected to your Weight Watchers account, click Disconnect. Weight Watchers allows you to connect only one device to your account.
  5. Click Fitbit to connect your Fitbit account.

Can you confirm that you have followed these steps?

Of course I have followed all those steps. The syncing of my weight worked perfectly for a long time and then just one day it stopped working. It’s important to note that all other metrics were syncing to WW, just not my weight.

You know what solved the problem? Getting a new Fitbit. I switched from the Inspire to the Luxe. It makes no sense to me why a new device would make a difference. I’m syncing a smart scale to the Fitbit app to the WW app. But it did. This is frustrating to say the least. Is this Fitbit’s way of making people upgrade to new models?

This process has become a LITTLE out-of-date due to changes on the website but, in general, you can still use it to get WW and Fitbit synced up. Thanks for the help!!!
