Fitbit credits too many calories to MFP, then MFP reduces them at midnight!

Hi, I have a Fitbit Charge HR synced with My Fitness Pal (MFP) and it works perfectly.  I have had mine for several months, and have no problems at all.

However, my wife has just bought one too, and has a problem.  It is synced to MFP, with MFP set at sedintary, and allowing negative calorie adjustments (same as mine) so you start with a base level of calories, say 1,200 and "earn" extra through steps.

Anyway, with my wifes, it seems to add too many calories to hers during the day, so for example she may end the day with around 1000 calories "spare".  However, at midnight this is reduced, so if she goes back the following day it shows she ended up with a deficit, around -200 for example.

Any idea what could cause this?  We've exchanged the Fitbit once, and had unsynced and re-synced but that didnt help.  My wife is really keen to get started on this but until it is working properly she can't rely on the figures.

Thanks in advance,  Mark.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @mark_uk. It's great to have you here. I would recommend revoking the access between Fitbit and MyFitnessPal and then re-link the two accounts once again. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for stopping by, see you around. Smiley Very Happy
