It is absurd that Fitbit doesn't integrate with Health Mate.  Time to switch to Withings?

Fitbit typically doesn't make integrations for third party apps - since Fitbit doesn't know how those apps. Usually it's the apps that integrate to pull data from Fitbit.

I just returned my Withings actually.  Was having problems with the scale data sync'g to my phone, but it uploaded online to Health Mate. You'd THINK the data that uploaded to Health Mate on my PC would also sync to the Android app but it didn't.  THEN, in a last ditch effort before deciding to return the scale, I emailed their "Support" team.  Four days later and still no email or phone call.

 

Withings lost my business for more than just issues with their scale.  If they can't respond to me in a reasonable amount of time and I JUST bought the scale...I know I won't be happy later if something ELSE goes wrong.

 

Fitbit def has room to grow in their 3rd party integration, but at least their support responds and it doesn't surprise me that they wouldn't support app integration with their direct competitor.
