Fitbit not recognizing MyFitness Pal calories

Everything was going fine until yesterday my FitBit app decided it was 2 days in the future (it logged my food as 8/2 when it was actually 7/31. Today it's logged over 1700 calories even though I've only eaten 1468 according to my fitness pal (if yesterday was logged as tomorrow, I'm also not sure what day it thinks today is). I've tried uninstalling both apps and reinstalling as well as disconnecting the FitBit app from MyFitnessPal and reconnecting, nothing works, I'm so frustrated.

I'm having a similar issue where Fitbit adds calories to meals. Yesterday it showed two dinners, not sure where the calories came from.

Any body looking into this issue?

Yes! I am having double entries and most annoyingly, at the bottom of the MFP food diary I no longer see "you have earned XXX calories through exercise". I was going with MFP for calories as it's lower than the Fitbit food diary but now I am just guessing. The double entry thing keeps on coming back even when I delete on the laptop, I tend not to use the phone apps as they have a mind of their own. Any Fitbit person know what's going on? This has been going on two days for me so far but I have been on the MFP forums and there's a lot of people asking the same questions.

Hi there everyone! It's great to see you in the Community!

I'd like to know if your problem has been solved or if you're still struggling with it. I would recommend that if it's still there, try to go to the Fitbit dashboard from a computer, go to the settings, then to the Applications section and from there, revoke access to MFP and go to MFP and link both accounts again.

Hope this helps and if you need anything ese! 🙂
