Fitbit sync with weight watchers online

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I've been using my Charge HR for a month now. I have it synced to the weight watchers online app. For the last two days the Fitbit is reporting under two different titles, 1) Fitbit activity - workout and 2) Fitbit, as if I have two different Fitbit devices. It appears that I have done the activity twice. This consequently awards me twice the number of weight watcher activity points that I actually earned. Anyone else having issues with Fitbit and the weight watcher app? Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @MarleneB. It's great to have you here. I would recommend unlinking your Fitbit account from WeightWatchers and link it once again. This should get you back on track.

Thanks for stopping by, see you around. Smiley Very Happy

Marlene: There are many others who have started experiencing this problem this week. It appears to be a problem with how the WW app communicates with the FB app. I talked with someone from WW tech support who said they know about the problem (it's doiuble counting) and are working on it. Others here have said the same. Hopefully they will fix it.

Thank you so much for your reply! Gotta keep myself honest about those extra points!

I gave it a try and it didnt work ... it is also interesting that the points dont match... today I walked 8647 steps and have 13 fitbit points. Then I have 3 Fitbit Activity Aerobic points and 5 Fit Bit activity walk points for a total of 21 points... wish it was that easy to earn points but trying hard to keep myself honest as I wait for a fix

Thanks for your reply. I tried unlinking and re-linking my Fitbit but it didn't work for me either. My points don't match either. Hopefully the problem will be worked out soon!

I am having the same problem.  I saw on another post that this apparently just started with a June upgrade of the both software.  Until this is fixed (hopefully soon), I have stopped using my AP's, I just let them pile up and try to stay within my points for the week.

I did this and had no change.

Does your WW Activity list points for your steps PLUS points for "Fitbit Activity" now? I had this start two weeks ago - doubling my activity points. I complained to WW twice, with no help. Yesterday, I spoke with someone really sharp on the WW App, and this is what we found.

Go to your FitBit App, then click on Account. Does it show you Fitbit (Charge HR for me), PLUS "mobile tracking". Mine did. I deleted the mobile tracking. Then I logged out, cycled the power on my phone, and then logged back in.

It didn't fix the prior activity, but it did stop the double posts as of today.  Hopefully mine is fixed.

See if that helps.

I did not have Mobile Travking enabled. However, my activities did not get double counted today, for the first time in 2 weeks. I synced several times and it seems fine. Hopefully that means it's been fixed for good! 🙂

Thanks for your reply. My Fitbit app does not show mobile tracking. My weight watcher app shows Fitbit activity and just Fitbit, neither of which I can delete. Hopefully it will work itself out at some point.
