Fitbit won't sync to Strava

I have given permission on strava for my activities on fitbit to automatically upload on there, but it isn't happening. I have searched for info and tried disconnecting and reconnecting my fitbit to strava but still can not find a way to save an activity from my fitbit to strava.

Hi @JenMay23. Welcome to the Fitbit community.

Thanks for the details regarding the inconvenience to connect with Strava.

Before considering other options, I suggest you follow these steps:

  1. Visit strava.fitbit.com and click Connect.
  2. Log in to your Strava account.
  3. When prompted, authorize Strava to connect to your Fitbit account and follow the on-screen instructions.

Your Fitbit activities will appear on Strava, and runs and rides tracked with Strava will contribute to your all-day Fitbit stats. To export your Fitbit GPS data to Strava, see How do I export my Fitbit account data?

Note that the following types of activities won't sync to Strava:

  • Non-GPS activities
  • Previous activities that weren’t tracked by Strava
  • Duplicate activities (if you already recorded an activity with Strava, a Fitbit activity that occurs at the same time won't sync).

After you link your Fitbit and Strava accounts, you may see some differences in the way data is calculated for your exercises on each site. For more information, see Strava's Calorie Calculation article.

hello @ManuFitbit,

you keep saying what your colleagues mods wrote. Those steps do not work, there is something wrong in the integration with Strava (provided by Fitbit, not by Strava that instead offers a much superior API) that Fitbit is not willing to recognize.
