My Fitbit won't sync with my weight watchers app anymore so I am not earning activity points and I can't add them manually.

Got to here for instructions on how WW and Fitbit.

One moved thos to the third party apps

So after I choose my device in the WW app and click continue, I should be directed to the Fitbit site to put in my password?  It doesn't do that for me.  It just stays on the WW site and says Device - fitbit - connected.  Still not connected to fitbit though.

Finally, someone at WW (Marvin) who knows what to do. Long response, but worked for me:

Marvin
Just to clarify, you are having trouble connecting your Fitbit device to your Weight Watchers account. Is that correct?

Lisa
Well, the problem is on the WW end. I am in WW settings - Activity - Device. I click Fitbit and I should be seeing a page where I can log in using my Fitbit email and password (otherwise, how would WW know what my Fitbit account is?). Anyway, that log in box never appears - it just establishes a connection without knowing my Fitbit info. I was told by a previous WW tech that means "its using an old account." I don't know what that means I that's what I need you to figure out for me, and hopefully fix it.

Marvin
On the WW page, you've mentioned that you are already on your Activity Settings page. Correct?

Lisa
yes

Marvin
Can you kindly describe to me what can you see on your Activity Screen?

Lisa
"Device" then "fitbit - disconnect"

Marvin
Can you please click "Disconnect"?
After that, can you please go to your "Weight Settings"?
On your Weight Settings, can you see a "Disconnect" option?

Lisa
yup

Marvin
Can you please click "Disconnect"?

Lisa
ok

Marvin
Just to confirm, you were able to disconnect your Fitbit on your Activity and Weight Settings. Correct?

Lisa
yes

Marvin
Awesome! Now, go to your Activity Settings again.

Then, try to click "Connect to a device or app".

Please let me know if you were able to see an option to log in your Fitbit account.

Lisa
at that point, I see a box with the word Fitbit in it and other boxes with the names of other devices

Marvin
Kindly click "Fitbit".

Lisa
Ok.  You have to make it work!

Marvin
It will definitely work, Lisa. By the way, the initial syncing may take 24-48 hours.

Lisa
I don't see a log in box.....

Marvin
After clicking the "Fitbit" what can you see on your screen?

Lisa
"Connect your fitbit to sync the following data. We'll automatically determine how many fitpoints you've earned." under that it says "steps" "distance" "calories." under that is a disclaimer in gray print and under that there are two boxes: "go back" and "continue."
No log in boxes

Marvin
Please click "Continue"

Lisa
OMG!! log in boxes!!

Marvin
Awesome! Were you able to log in your Fitbit account?

Lisa
I think so!!
Do I have to do this in settings on the Weight tab also were I disconnected earlier?

Marvin
If you want to sync your Fitbit with your weight, you will need to connect it on your Weight tab.  If you are using a Fitbit that has the option to records your weight, you will need to connect it on the Weight tab.
