When I log an exercise in Myfitnesspal App it carries over the stats to Fitbit, but I also log my exercise in Fitbit. Does this mean its counting the steps/cals twice? Or does Fitbit register that the two logs relate to the same exercise & only count it once? Thanks

It will show both on your exercise log but only one will be included in your daily stats. I think both are treated as manual activities that overwrite what your tracker thinks you did based on your movement. I think the latest one entered takes precedence but I'm not sure. You can test the effect by deleting the activities from your activity list and seeing what that does to your daily stats. (Note that because your BMR calories are added dynamically throughout the day and your tracker recorded stats during the activity as well, that deleting either or even both activities won't drop your stats by the amount reported in the activity. Instead whatever was overwritten will replace the activity stats you delete).
