My primary work out is weight lifting which I track using Fitocracy.com. Is it possible to integrate with my Fitbit?

Hi @Retreever, sorry about this, I should be more specific in my previous post Robot Very Happy. Exercise mode is not an icon or stat that is displayed individually on your tracker. Is the whole function when you press the side button. When you do this and the stopwatch appears on the screen, this indicate your tracker is in Exercise mode. As you have noticed, when you do this it will display the amount of steps and other information separately from your total count. This works for those activities where the step is not the best indicator for calories burned as when it syncs it will be displayed as Workout, giving you the choice to categorized the exercise to a different one.

Let me know if you have more questions, I'll be around.

Hi @Retreever

Moved this thread from the Charge HR to the Third-Party Integrations section to increase the chance of getting a solution.

It's possible to Contact Fitocracy from their contact page:

Hello @Retreever, welcome aboard and thanks @SunsetRunner for moving this post to the correct board. So far this integration is not available and the only one supported apps by Fitbit are the one from the following link: https://www.fitbit.com/partnership

One way to know this too is by contacting them as @SunsetRunner suggested, to know if the have an API that allows the integration. although I haven't heard anything news about this integration.

I usually put my tracker in exercise mode (pressing the side button of the tracker) to do weight lifting and it works pretty good for calories burned, it might be an option as a workaround but if you are interested in using this app I invite you to visit our Feature Requests board to share your suggestion. If you find that a similar suggestion has already been made by another member of the community, you can vote for their idea and add your comments.

Hope this information be of your help and see you around.

@RobertoME, you said "I usually put my tracker in exercise mode

I have a Charge HR when I press the button on the side I get the Time and
Date - successive pushes bring up icons for Steps, Heart Rate, Distance,
Calories Burned and Stairs Climbed - what icon indicates "exercise" mode?

Thanks, Roger
