Garmin Connect integration?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I currently use Garmin Connect to log my mountain biking, indoor trainer, and rowing machine workouts (I use a Garmin Forerunner 310XT). I was able to get a Fitbit as a part of my employer's health plan and will get rewards for meeting certain activity levels. Could you please integrate the Fitbit dashboard with Garmin Connect so that I don't need to manaully enter my Garmin actvities on the Fitbit dashboard?

thanks

I would second kevkizer's request about integrating Garmin Connect, if that is possible.

I would love to see that integration as well.

This is a great suggestion - you might post it over on our Idea Board, so that our developers can see that there is interest.

I use the FitDataSync App. It adjusts my steps on my FitBit Dashboard but then I lose my Activity minutes.

You can use SyncMetrics to sync Garmin Data to Fitbit!

FitDataSync used to work perfectly.  They must have pulled the plug- the support page is now gone.  Surprising, considering the growth fo the market.

I signed up for SyncMetrics but can login.  I confirmed the account but the confirmation has not gone through the server.  SyncMetrics looks like a weekend project rather than an actual company.

FitDataSync works fine for me.

What transfers over from the Garmin connect? I have been reading that steps from the vivofit won't transfer to the fitbit site.

As of November 12 2014 Fitdatasync.com is abandoned.  The lights are out and no one is home.  The guy who created it must have gotten tired of providing support to something he wasn't making any money on.  Probably hoping Fitbit or Garmin would buy his sync tool.  What a shame.

Yes. Please make the FitBit sink with my Garmin 300/600 Bicycle Computer so I can not wear the heart monitor chest strap !!!!

Not sure what info you require to sync over, but I sync Garmin Connect into Myfitnesspal (MFP) in Fitbit.  I am having an issue though where the ride is syncing over to MFP as the day before - haven't resolved that as yet...

I use Endomondo.  it's spot on and synces within a few seconds.  I the minute my Garmin ride is uploaded, Endomondo gets it as does Fitbit a few seconds later.  I occasionally notice the connection from Endomondo and Fitbit needs to be reconnected - so unfortunately I can't leave it alone for more than a couple months.  so I check in on it every so often to keep it thinking I didn't go Robot.

Has anyone figured out how to get a FitBit One to port steps over to Garmin Connect. I want my fitbit steps to sunc on Garmin Connect app so i can have my cycling activites and step counts in the same plce.

Ive read a bunch of posts and no one seems to address getting fitbit data into Garmin Connect w/o a third party app, some of those for a fee, and many reported issues

No. Fitbit will not sink with Garmin Connect. For me, Garmin Connect nearly works as it is. It takes forever to load.

It really is a shame. As someone earlier commented Fitbit is poised to remain a leader and to not play with garmin nicely makes no sense. Does Fitbit make a cycling computer that tracks my rides? No. garmin does. But I like the Fitbit. So, I guess a farming watch is in my future to get all my stuff in the same place

So when your garmin sport band collects step and hart data it sends it all to endomondo then it gets sent to fitbit?
