I currently use Garmin Connect to log my mountain biking, indoor trainer, and rowing machine workouts (I use a Garmin Forerunner 310XT). I was able to get a Fitbit as a part of my employer's health plan and will get rewards for meeting certain activity levels. Could you please integrate the Fitbit dashboard with Garmin Connect so that I don't need to manaully enter my Garmin actvities on the Fitbit dashboard?
thanks

I have a Garmin Bicycle Computer. It only communicates with my Fitbit after I download the Garmin to my laptop.
Interestingly, the Fitbit of course records the bicycle activity and won’t “double count” the activity.

I was going to purchase a Garmin VivoSmart to connect to my Edge 1000. However I read a review here:
The heart rate accuracy while road cycling is unusable. Thus really making this Garmin unit unusable.
That leaves the Fitbit! Have you been able to sync it with the Edge 1000 to provide the Edge with heart rate data? Or do you have to "post process" the data?
The Garmin optical sensor is real junk and is unreliable due to road vibration.
