Love the app and the relations with friends on Fitbit especially the challenges and Badges. However not having a waterproof product is hurting you. Garmin vivoactive HR has created a waterproof, 7 to 8 day battery smart watch like your Surge which not waterproof. My company also promotes your product for life Heath programs and completes competitions to award with health insurance rewards. Please allow 3rd party downloads at least with known partners as Garmin and Apple. Even create an app and charge .99 cents or $1.99 for access to the Fitbit dashboard and challenges if it's a money issue.

First, the new Flex 2 coming out is waterproof and can be used while swimming.

 

Second, Fitbit provides a free, open API for any 3rd party app developers to use to sync with their apps. If Garmin or Apple wanted to integrate Fitbit data with their apps all they have to do is use it.
