Question if I wear my fitbit on a bike ride to get post rier HR data and use Garmin Connect to upload the GPS trace are the calories burnt double counted?

Example my commute into work is around 500 calories of effort according to garmin. On syncing this gets added to the daily total in fitbit. Will this mean I've counted the 500 twice do to the fit bit increasing the calorie burn due to my increased HR ?

Allow me to help, @Sharrow!

I suggest just logging your activity in one side. Or if you wear your tracker and you also want to log the activity using Garming; what you can do is delete the information recorded by your tracker so it won't be duplicated when you enter the activity in Garming. This article will help you with this.

I hope this clarifies your inquiry.
