General questions on how does MFP work with Fitbit.

I have a Zip and have it synched with My Fitness Pal (mainly because I've been using MFP for about a year). Not really using it for the step count, but for the calories burned. I wear it all day including for workouts (strength training, PiYo, etc.). Few questions:

- do I just use the FitBit calories burned adjustment for all of my exercise (it's recording it as FitBit Steps adjustment

- I have negative calorie adjustment on in MFP - is this right?

- how is 'track exercise' used? should I manually track my strength and cardio training (which is typically weights, piyo, yoga, elliptical - things that aren't really steps - or will FitBit take into account these calories burned -- do I wear the zip during my workouts or just for my daily activities, walking, etc.

@JanetLynn A warm welcome to the Community! Here's this great article in MFP that will answer the first two questions check What is the Calorie Adjustment in my Exercise Diary? Any activity that's step based shouldn't be log in your Dashboard because your tracker was made for that. Any other activity that requires more than just steps like tennis or yoga should be log in your Dashboard in order to improve the accuracy of this activity contribution to your caloric burn.

So, you should wear your tracker during normal activities like walking or running and don't wear it when doing any activity that requires more than just steps.
