Getting Charge 3 heart rate data into Strava

I just bought a Charge 3 to use as a heart rate monitor.  I have authorized Fitbit to connect to Strava.  I just completed my first ride and don't see my heart rate data in Strava under my ride.

I did record the ride with both Strava and the Charge 3, which if I understand what I'm reading online was a mistake.  But what is unclear to me then, if I can't record it in both spots, is which one am I supposed to record it from?

I would prefer to use Strava, since I bring my iPhone (11 Pro) on rides, and the Strava app has maps that I use.  But if I do this will the heart rate data sync into Strava?  If yes, will it happen automatically, or manually?  This is not clear.

Hi - if anyone could advise, it would be appreciated.

I am trying to upload exercise data from Fitbit into Strava as an activity from an Inspire HR device. I understand the Inspire HR does not have GPS capability and as such can't automatically be synced, hence a manual upload is required.

When uploading the TCX file that has been downloaded from fitbit, the error message "This file is empty" is displayed within the Strava account. 

If anyone has encountered this issue before please advise as to the solution

Thanks for letting me know that you're using your Charge 3 with Strava. 

I would like you to take a look at this post to learn what's going to sync between Fitbit and Strava. Also, at the moment, Fitbit heart rate information won't sync to any third-party app. 

When recording activities, make sure you're using one at a time. For example, if you'll track your activity with GPS you could choose to track it either with your Charge 3 or with Strava, because both will sync to Fitbit or Strava.

Hi,

I recently purchased a charge 4 and been trying to get my heart rate onto Strava, which said it can be done. At the moment I'm running or biking with Strava while I have my Fitbit on and the heart rate data doesn't show up after the runs or cycles.

Not sure what's going on if this is a bug or something?
