Getting team info creating app for company competition/display stats

Everyone at our company got a fit it for Xmas off the company. We'd love to he able to grab the steps of everyone and display them on our intranet (if the employee chooses to share their ID / Username etc) We have the means to be able to make API calls via a web call of sorts.. Is this something that is possible?

@danstoll Welcome to our community! It's good to have you here. If your company has the tools and people then you can get the guidelines to make your own APP by reviewing our Dev page. There you will find the documentation necessary to develop your application. An easier way to address this is just creating a group, add everyone that has a Fitbit tracker in your company and display the page where everybody can see it. Something I would like to add if you choose to create a group is to create an account just to manage this group ( you could use a fake email address and a fake user like yourcompany'snameHR@domain.com or something similar) and everyone would have this user as a friend and added to the group. 

Hopefully this will help you get everybody on board and start a friendly competition.
